EIL(ENGINEERS INDIA LIMITED) MT EXAM PAPER / EXAM PATTERN (BASED ON CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE)
The pattern of the recruitment test for EIL is given below:
The test consists of 150 qs. Duration is 120 min .
There were a total of 150 questions :50 questions frm English,aptitude and gk,100 questions from subject.1 mark for a correct answer and 0.25 negative mark.The aptitude questions take time and akin to the type normally seen in management questions. The gk part was more concentrated on current affairs and rather than Indian history ,geography etc.English part needs some preparation and was not easy.The vocabulary part was tough but only about 5 questions ,should be easy for those who prepare for mba entrance I think.
There are 150 total ques. in the paper. First section contains 50 from general awareness and then 100 from technical.
In G.A. there are about 10 ques from vocab test , 30 from current affairs and gen. awareness, 5 from
grammer and 5 from simple maths.No reasoning, no unseen passage.
there was -ve marking. So try to do less guess. GK was quite tough comparatively as other exams. The paper was of objective type with 4 multiple type answer and there was 1/4 negative marking.
